Brad Nessler

 

Brad Nessler, one of the leading play-by-play commentators in the business, calls college basketball games for ESPN and college football games for ABC Sports. He has worked for ESPN since 1992 and started adding ABC assignments in 1997. From 2002 to 2004, Nessler was a broadcaster for the NBA, including calling the 2003 NBA Finals.

Nessler is part of the lead college basketball crew for Saturday Primetime with color analysis by Dick Vitale and court side reports from Erin Andrews. Also for ESPN, Nessler does SEC games on Super Tuesday and Throwdown Thursday, both along side Jimmy Dykes in primetime. He is also the play-by-play voice for the EA Sports video game NCAA Football 06

He began his broadcasting career doing play-by-play for radio of Georgia Tech basketball from 1980 till 1985, and the Atlanta Falcons from 1982 to 1988 before assuming the same duty for the Minnesota Vikings during the 1988 ans 1989 seasons. He has done play-by-play of ACC football and basketball for Jefferson Pilot telecasts. For ESPN, he has called college basketball games and Thursday night football games from 1992-1997.
